Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler
New Orleans - January 2012
This is the first trip I've taken in the last few years without my SLR :( The Rebel quit on me at Oktoberfest in National Harbor last year, so I've been carrying the SX10 while I save up for a new Canon body. While I missed the fine control of the SLR, I do love the optical zoom on this camera!
Anyway. Family vacation to New Orleans in January 2012! Only my family would plan their vacation for the middle of winter. It worked out well, since the city was gearing up for Mardi Gras and it wasn't the least bit crowded. We mostly subsisted on coffee.

On A Boat
Our friend Lindsey's dad has a boat, and he was awesome enough to take us out on the York River last weekend. I learned how to kneeboard, and discovered that it really makes your shoulders ache. Lauren made amazing faces about pretty much everything, as usual.
